G & H Towing Company received a letter of commendation from Rear Admiral Roy A. Nash of the U.S. Coast Guard on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, for being the first company in the Houston-Galveston Captain of the Port zone to earn safety decals for 100 percent of the company's towing vessels. Read more here

G & H Towing Company participated in the ribbon cutting for the Texas City Channel Deepening Project on Saturday, Oct. 29. Port Capt. Russell Gibson was in attendance, along with a water presentation display by the tug, Wesley A. Read more here

G & H Towing Company Capt. Mark Kazin spent October 2011 in Japan for his Naval Reserve Duty. Kazin helped train active duty personnel who are operating the newly acquired YT-805 ASD tug "Seminole." Read more here

G & H Towing Company was well representated at the Fifth Annual Women on the Water Conference held recently in Buzzards Bay, Masschusetts. The conference was attended by leading female mariners as well as hundreds of cadets. Read more here

The Port of Corpus Christi and the Coast Guard honored the G & H Towing Co. crew of the William M on Jan. 18 for heroically risking their lives and averting an economic and environmental tragedy in 2006. Read more here
